When I originally wrote this page, the first line
read "This is where I brag on some of the guns I collect." I don't like
the way that sounds, but it does seem somewhat accurate.
My reason for posting images of my gun collection isn't entirely
vanity; I know there are people with better collections than mine. I'm
posting them simply to share with others what I have found, connect
with and learn from or help others who sahre my collecting interests
and perhaps, to be selfishly honest, shake loose a gun here or there
that someone might want to sell.
Not including my 'working' guns, I collect two main types of guns:
US Military Firearms and
New York
City Police Department Firearms.
I'm fairly serious about both and have done a tremendous amount of
original research on the NYCPD guns. I also hold what I believe is the
only complete copy of the
surviving NYCPD gun purchase records, so I can document guns that I
find.
I'm always looking to buy, sell or trade.
